5lb Weighting Kit includes:
- (1) Shoulder/Hip Belt: This belt is wide to provide even pressure and has a moveable pad for comfort.
- (1) 5lb Weight: This weight is padded and can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. It can be combined with Accessory/Pediatric 2lb Weight Pocket to increase the weight through the velcro.
10lb Weighting Kit includes:
- (1) Shoulder/Hip Belt: This belt is wide to provide even pressure and has a moveable pad for comfort.
- (1) 10lb Weight: This weight is padded and can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. It can be combined with Accessory/Pediatric 2lb Weight Pocket to increase the weight through the velcro.
Body Weighting - Common Setup includes:
- (2) Shoulder/Hip Belt: This belt is wide to provide even pressure and has a moveable pad for comfort.
- (2) 5lb Weight: This weight is padded and can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. It can be combined with Accessory/Pediatric 2lb Weight Pocket to increase the weight through the velcro.
- (1) Chest Weight Strap: Has a 3” neck roll to help disperse the force along the cervical spine. The strap is thin for patient comfort, with an added female velcro tie.
How to Use Weighting Kits
The 5lb and 10lb Weights can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. The Shoulder/Hip Belt is wide to provide even pressure. It also has a movable pad for patient comfort. Your doctor will provide the appropriate exercises utilizing these components based on individual needs.
