Fulcrum Guidelines:
These guidelines are for use under the following conditions:
- Correction potential X-ray with minimal correction in the C spine
- Severe cervical kyphosis
- Cervical spine multilevel degenerative joint disease (DJD)
- Severe forward head posture (FHP) in large necks, particularly in males
- Long necks in patients who are 6’2” or taller
Fulcrum Installation:
- Remove the foam cover from the fulcrum.
- The fulcrum base has two pre-drilled holes that align with the extension fulcrum holes (refer to Figure A).
- Drop the two small screws into the holes of the extension fulcrum.
- Tighten the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver (refer to Figure B).
The Cervigard is Medicare-approved by the Physician Assistant Certification Board (PDAC) and registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
