Product Information
During sleep, your nervous system accelerates to facilitate the healing and repair of tissues damaged throughout the day. Progressive Foam Rolls ensure your spine is in an optimal position for your body to heal and restore itself. The Progressive Foam Roll set is designed to promote easy and convenient spinal care at home.
Available in medium (blue) or firm (black) density, the set includes two foams measuring 3 inches and 2.5 inches in diameter and 12 inches in length. It also comes with two covers.
How to Use Progressive Foam Rolls
- Begin with the medium density roll and gradually progress to the firm density roll based on your doctor’s recommendation.
- Place the prescribed roll in the appropriate position, typically in the middle of your neck and the middle of your low back.
- Try to fall asleep on the rolls. If you’re unable to, stay on the rolls for as long as you feel comfortable before switching back to your current pillow.
- Work to increase your time on the rolls in increments of 5 minutes until it becomes a habitual practice throughout the night. This can take up to 6 months.
- You can also use the rolls throughout the day for 10 to 20 minutes. This is particularly beneficial after exercise or physical activity.
For maximum results, your MaxLiving Doctor may recommend using this item in conjunction with other items in the MaxLiving Homecare Kit.
Discover the Health Benefits of Progressive Foam Rolls
Regular use of foam rollers offers numerous health benefits for maintaining spinal correction. Foam rollers aid in myofascial release, allowing contracted muscles to relax and improving blood and nutrient flow to the affected area. In addition to use before bed, foam rollers can be used before exercising to reduce muscle tightness and enhance flexibility. The release caused by foam rolling also improves blood circulation by breaking up tight areas where blood flow may be restricted.
Benefits include improved flexibility and joint range of motion, enhanced circulation, reduced muscle soreness, and decreased muscle recovery time.
