Weighting Kits are provided to equip patients with the necessary equipment for both clinic and home rehabilitation procedures.
5lb Weighting Kit includes:
- (1) Shoulder/Hip Belt: This wide belt provides even pressure and features a movable pad for comfort.
- (1) 5lb Weight: Padded and versatile, this weight can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. It can be combined with the Accessory/Pediatric 2lb Weight Pocket to increase the weight via the velcro.
10lb Weighting Kit includes:
- (1) Shoulder/Hip Belt: Similar to the 5lb kit, this wide belt offers even pressure and a movable pad for comfort.
- (1) 10lb Weight: Padded and adaptable, this weight can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. It can also be combined with the Accessory/Pediatric 2lb Weight Pocket to increase the weight through the velcro.
Body Weighting - Common Setup includes:
- (2) Shoulder/Hip Belt: This wide belt provides even pressure and features a movable pad for comfort.
- (2) 5lb Weight: Padded and versatile, this weight can be used as a shoulder, chest, or hip weight. It can be combined with the Accessory/Pediatric 2lb Weight Pocket to increase the weight via the velcro.
- (1) Chest Weight Strap: This thin strap has a 3” neck roll to help distribute force along the cervical spine. It also includes a female velcro tie for added comfort.
How to Use Weighting Kits:
The 5lb and 10lb weights can be used as shoulder, chest, or hip weights. The Shoulder/Hip Belt is designed to provide even pressure and includes a movable pad for patient comfort. Your doctor will recommend the appropriate exercises using these components based on your individual needs.
